On their own, a Breast Augmentation or a Breast Lift can provide excellent aesthetic improvements. Combined together, these become a powerhouse procedure; providing women with a, snug, full, youthful bust. Alterations in the breasts’ appearance can occur at any time, but certain life events often fuel the changes. Loss of breast volume can result from childbirth and breastfeeding, from hormonal changes, and from dramatic weight loss. Heavy tissue from a large chest can increase the incidence of sagging and wilting breasts. Women may experience a loss of self-confidence, as the concern over their breast shape grows. The augmentation-lift maximizes how good things can look and feel.
The Breast Augmentation and Breast Lift Procedure:
The tailoring (Lift) procedure is designed for each individual patient to maximize her breasts’ shape, size, orientation, and position on the chest. The technique required will determine the scar pattern produced. Doctor Basile will review with you at your visit, what you can expect from the procedure. After performing the Breast Lift, Dr. Basile will add the implant that looks most natural and proportionate with your body type. This combination will provide enhanced shape, as well as restore the lost volume of the breast.
The Recovery After a Breast Augmentation and Breast Lift:
While there is some discomfort after surgery, Dr. Basile always makes sure his patients rest comfortably at home with the appropriate supportive medications. In a week patients usually feel well enough to return to non-physical work. Some swelling and bruising may occur, but this will fade over the first few weeks. No exercise or heavy lifting should be done during the first four to six weeks, after which it can be slowly reintroduced.
Results from a Breast Augmentation with Breast Lift can be very long lasting. Normal aging and gravity will continue to affect the body, so a healthy weight and lifestyle should be maintained.
